I wax it regularly, what do I need Permagard for?

Permagard body and interior coatings are modern high performance protection products designed to prolong the life and enhance the appearance of the main interface materials used in today’s boats, aircraft and cars: the painted surfaces and the interior fabrics and leathers. Our products are designed specifically not to cut, damage or wear surfaces. Permagard products clean then seal and protect surfaces keeping them as new as when you bought them...No need to cut, polish or wax ever again!

Permagard's products have been developed and tested on ocean going vessels, aircraft and cars since the early 1990s and have evolved alongside advances in polymer science and the commercial production of advanced high performance plastics into the products we are using today.

Permagard body coating is not a polish or a wax.

In fact our Permagard body coatings are much more closely related to the clear coat lacquers. Permagard coatings add additional layer of depth over the top coat of paints and gel coats, instead of cutting and reducing this layer’s depth. The coating is then the first line of defence for the ongoing attack the treated vehicle endures every day from environmental attack and physical contact.

So, our body coating is more closely related to clear lacquers than it is with any wax or polish, except the finish we are able to achieve with it is much finer than can be obtained with a spray coated lacquer due to the hand application procedure.

And as it is also a clear, optically neutral coating, about half as thick in depth again as the original top clear coat lacquer when fully cured, this is what gives a treated surface the increased brilliance and depth of colour.
